To think they’d gone at it like beasts in a place like this. Her face burning with embarrassment, Daphne fanned herself with her hand and looked around. But she couldn’t see her clothes, which had been reduced to rags, let alone any new clothes prepared for her. Theodore hadn’t returned, so nothing had been laid out. Do I have to wait until he gets back? But she had no idea when he’d return, and she couldn’t very well stay naked the whole time.
