Jeong Soohyun went straight to the nearest community center. An hour later, he submitted a paternity confirmation, his ID, and papers he’d gotten from the doctor to estimate the birth date of a rare-trait newborn, and finished registering Baby Gureum’s birth. The name he wrote down without a second thought was Jeong Jinhyun. It wasn’t a generational name. His father hadn’t passed anything that unique down to a son he’d raised without love, and Soohyun wasn’t hung up on that kind of thing either.
