Feeling their affectionate gazes on her, Luana lowered her head. They’re all so kind. A sudden wave of emotion welled up inside her. After sitting like that for a while, she felt drowsiness gradually wash over her. Having been busy since early morning making cookies, her body was worn out. Ludeon patted her gently as she dozed in his arms, then carefully carried her toward the bed. Even in her sleep, Luana realized he was about to lay her down and leave, so she weakly tugged at his sleeve. Her grip was so faint that his slightest movement would break it, yet Ludeon did not pull away.
