“It’s nothing,” Johanna assured him. “Have you eaten?” “Not yet. I was waiting for you.” She had already eaten, but sitting with him while he had his dinner was no hardship. “Then let’s go up. Nadia, Mr. Sinkel, we’ll be going now.” “Uh, oh, alright…” Mr. Sinkel mumbled. “Enjoy your dinner!” Nadia called out. “You have to tell me all the details later!” Unlike the still-chagrined Mr. Sinkel, Nadia was practically vibrating with excitement over the unexpected gossip.
