So he had realized I could suppress the curse on his heart. He’d looked surprised when I pushed him away earlier; I guess up until then he hadn’t known I could hold his curse down. Or maybe Hamin had told him while I was talking with Jiseong. Hamin listened quietly to our conversation, then squeezed my hand tight.
