What’s this? Vetus Testamentum and Novum Testamentum? Their titles caught Rowen’s attention for some reason. He was just reaching for the books when a voice interrupted him. “Please have lunch,” the boy announced. “Yes, of course.” Was it lunchtime already? The boy returned from somewhere carrying a large basket and neatly arranged the packed meals on a table near the entrance. Everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and took their seats. The boy’s gaze remained pleasant, yet there was something about him that made them feel they ought to obey quickly.
