Chapter 12

The world collapsed in an instant. Humanity was demoted to the status of prey. Following orders, Haejun withdrew from Cheorwon, returned to Seoul, and helped build the city’s defense walls. And then, Ahyeon disappeared. He later heard that she had set out to find her younger brother, who had gone missing. It wasn’t long after that that he heard she had become a skilled mercenary. He’d wanted to see her, just once.
